Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, H.E. Ambassador Kenji Shinoda and Madam Yuko Shinoda, together with The Japanese Association, Singapore at Chingay Parade 2017.
The month of February was filled with inspiring and eye-opening events such as Landscapes: New vision through multiple windows, the Japan Media Arts Festival Special Exhibition in Singapore, which was last held in JCC in 2011. Many visitors were able to experience the different wonders of media arts not only in JCC, but also in the nearby Shaw Lido Theatres. There was also the exceptionally successful Visit Tohoku Seminar, the dazzling lectures/demonstrations by Dr Lena Okajima entitled 'Science through entertainment with shooting stars on demand', as well as the dynamic Super Rugby Night. We hope that everyone was able to learn something new from these varying events.
It was also our pleasure to celebrate the Lunar New Year with many Singaporeans through Chingay Parade 2017. We look forward to sharing more experiences with everyone - one of which is Vestiges of their Hearts, the upcoming photography exhibition on Japan's Tohoku region by Mr Jorel Chan. Don't forget to join us at JCC for that, and much more!
