JCC Director Ms Misako Ito celebrating SJ50 with dancers from both Singapore and Japan during Nihon Buyo - Traditional Japanese Dance performance at Japan Creative Centre
We were most fortunate to be graced by many colourful events through the month of July. Japanese Sumi Art Exhibition by renowned Japanese calligrapher, Ms Nakatani Suisen, continued through the end of the month, and a beautiful Japanese traditional dance performance was put on by Reitokukai and Akifusaryu at JCC. Our events also reached out to other places such as Global Community Day at Temasek Polytechnic, JCC Cinema at Tanglin Community Club, and the Japanese Speech Contest at the Japanese Association Singapore. It is really wonderful that we are able to celebrate the spirit of SJ50 with more and more people. We look forward to bringing you more inspiring events, so be sure to stay tuned!
