On 28th June 2018, Ocean Network Express (ONE) held an opening party marking their establishment in Singapore. Ambassador Kenji Shinoda was present and he delivered a speech in commemoration of this milestone.

ONE was established in Singapore as global headquarters through the merger of the international container operations of three major Japanese shipping companies: Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (K-Line), Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) and Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK).
