Application (Entry / Re-entry to Japan)

When using the Business Track, the pre-departure procedures required are different from normal entry procedures. Please check the link for more information: MOFA website

If you are a Japanese national intending to travel to Japan using the Business Track, you are required to get a Cover Letter issued by the Embassy. We accept applications for the Cover Letter by e-mail. 

Please send us an e-mail with the following documents attached:

• Written Pledge (Japanese nationals - Business Track)
• Schedule of Activity in Japan
• Please submit using the format posted on the MOFA website.

The Cover Letter issued by our embassy is required in order to take the pre-departure COVID-19 PCR tests, and is proof that you are a user of the Business Track, so please keep both electronic data and printed copy with you until the end of your trip as you may be required to present this upon return to Singapore.  

【Note】

• It may take several days to process the application, but in the case that you do not receive a reply for more than 3 days, there is a possibility that we did not receive the e-mail, so please inform the Embassy.
• We do not accept requests for same-day issuance nor expedite cases due to personal reasons.
• It is mandatory to follow according to Singapore government quarantine measures upon return from Japan using the Business Track.
• Please check the latest information before departure from Singapore or re-entering Japan.
