Talk Session: Travel Memories by Dr. Iskandar Jalil

Overview

August was an extremely memorable month for JCC. Renowned Singaporean Master Potter Dr Iskandar Jalil held a solo exhibition and talk session at JCC to the delight of many people. We also successfully held our JCC Cinema screening of “JUJUTSU KAISEN: ZERO” at Our Tampines Hub's Festive Arts Theatre.

This month is packed with plenty of interesting activities too, with an exhibition featuring chado or The Way of Tea, as well as ink painting workshops and a tea ceremony demonstration. Do drop by JCC to discover and enjoy a different side of Japanese tea ceremony!

There was also the wonderful opportunity to learn more from the Master Potter himself during the talk session. With his usual humour and insight, Dr Iskandar shared many interesting anecdotes, and it was certainly an eye-opening session.

The JCC Cinema screening of...(Click here to read more)
