Japan Creative Centre

On 11th March, 2011, a mega Earthquake and Tsunami hit the northeastern Japan, leaving nearly 20,000 dead or missing. Many still remain evacuated from their hometowns as a result of the ensuing nuclear power plant accident. Since then Japan has made countless efforts in the way to recovery.

Within these two years, people from all over the world had been lending a helping hand to the Japanese in all different ways. Since July 2012, Japan Creative Centre had been screening the Tohoku Documentary which documented the efforts made by people from all over the world to rebuild the Eastern Japan from the disaster.

This month, Japan Creative Centre will be presenting to you a three-part event in memory of the Great East Earthquake and tsunami
