'What is Harajuku Fashion?'

Japan Creative Centre is pleased to present an artist talk by Mr. Tano Yoshihiko, Director of Apparel Web. In conjunction with the opening of Apparel Web's first Asia Fashion shop, J Runway, which is scheduled to open on 29th October this year. Mr. Tano Yoshihiko was also one of the judges for this year '2nd Sustainable Fashion Design Contest'.
"Harajuku Fashion" is the freest and most enjoyable fashion culture throughout the world. Japanese people are proud of having such a culture. Mr Tano Yoshihiko will explain the history and characteristic of "Harajuku Fashion" using photos and charts based on the long term study of Mr.Ryu Koyama, one of the most prominent researcher of fashion trend in Japan.
