In conjunction with the Kabuki performance “The Masseur and the Thief” which will be held at School of the Arts Singapore (SOTA) Drama Theatre for a limited run from 16-17 March, National Library Board, Association for Traditional Performing Arts of Japan (ATPA), Vivid Creations Pte. Ltd., and Japan Creative Centre are co-organising the
"Kabuki Public Lecture & Artist Demonstration at library@esplanade" on 11 March.
Kabuki is a popular form of traditional Japanese theatre. APTA has been sharing the art of Kabuki to audiences of various groups and various ages in Japan for 20 years, presenting Kabuki in an accessible way to engage new audiences, and to revitalize the art form.
