The “YANDAORA PROJECT” is a collaboration between Today is the day Foundation, Japan and The Red Pencil, humanitarian foundation, Singapore to support Fukushima children who are affected by the East Japan Earthquake and Fukushima Daichii Nuclear Disaster.
As children living in Fukushima are under constant fear of trauma and radiation exposure, they are not allow to spend much time outdoor.
However, with this program, children are able to go on a relaxation trip to Singapore for an art therapy. This project is also supported by Coop Fukushima, Kodomo Mirai (Future of Children) Institute in Tokyo, together with Dr. Junro Fuse, who is working on the prevention of illnesses arising out of disasters for children.
