
The Japanese Film Festival 2013 will take place from 26th June to 8th July 2013, with more than 32 screenings held at both Alliance Francaise and the National Museum of Singapore, showcasing classics from director Kaneto Shindo and Kozaburo Yoshimura. Audiences and film lovers can look forward to classics such as Children of Hiroshima, The Ball at the Anjo House, recent releases like Japan's Tragedy, Shady, as well as Takeshi Kitano's directorial debut Violent Cop, from the Kawakita Memorial Film Institue Collection.
The highlight for this years's festival will be the Post Screening Question and Answer session by Film Producer Jiro Shindo and son of prolific director Mr. Kaneto Shindo after the screening of "A Last Note" on 29th June 2013.
