H.I.S. held a Tohoku Travel Seminar at JCC (Japan Creative Centre), Embassy of Japan in Singapore on Saturday, 26th August 2017. The purpose of the seminar was to further promote visits to the beautiful region of Tohoku. Guests were able to learn more about the beauty of Tohoku, the local Tohoku food and festivals, recommended places to visit, as well as unique points of Tohoku as introduced by Mr Eddie Kheng. |
| Ms Hiroko Ono, a local resident of Tohoku, was also present to share more about the features of Tohoku. Guests were able to ask further questions after the informative seminar. They also enjoyed the showcase corner on Tohoku, and the gigantic Nebuta warrior-figure originating from Aomori in Tohoku region, which was on display at JCC for the Japanese Balloon Art Exhibition. |  During the seminar. |
