Fight against diabetes -Efforts on diabetes in Japan and relationship with oral care

On 19th October, JCC and Sunstar held Diabetic Seminar in order to share some of the initiatives in Japan to fight against diabetes and the importance of oral care to maintain the whole body health. Sunstar is a pioneer in championing the bidirectional link between diabetes and periodontal disease. They collaborated with Joslin Diabetes Center, the world's preeminent diabetes clinic & research center, to conduct cutting-edge research and hold educational seminars for dentists, medical doctors and medical staff. |
| Dr Motonobu Matsumoto, Dr Atsushi Ishikado and Mr Fumihiro Awashima from Sunstar, gave a wonderful lecture about the importance of oral care for diabetics.
