Seafood Seminar & Tasting 2023, a workshop series of “I Love Sushi” was held on the 26 April 2023. Ms Amanda Tan, Co-Founder of Zairyo, conducted an informative seminar and shared with guests a wide range of topics such as the quality of fresh seafood that are imported from Japan to Singapore and the types of seafood used in today’s food industry. Guests also had the opportunity to ask Ms. Amanda a wide range of questions during the Q&A and even enjoyed delicious sushi made with scallops from Hokkaido, salmon from Aomori, tuna from Kagoshima, yellowtail and flounder from Oita. And if one is interested to know more about the different types of sushi, part of the exhibition series showcases 150 different types of sushi, mainly nigiri-zushi, that are popular today.
