Opening Ceremony of Japanese Film Festival Singapore 2020

Japanese Film Festival Singapore 2020 was opened at Shaw Theatres Lido on Thursday, 10 December 2020. The movie Bento Harassment, a funny yet heartwarming and touching film directed by Tsukamoto Rempei was the opening film.

H.E. Ambassador Jun Yamazaki and Mrs. Yamazaki, together with Mr. Kenneth Tan, Chairman of the Singapore Film Society and his wife, graced the opening and attended the screening. They were greeted by Mr. Mark Shaw, Director of Shaw Organisation. In order to adhere to the COVID-19 safety measures, pre-recorded opening speeches by the Ambassador and Mr. Kenneth Tan were shown on the screen before the movie to welcome the audience.
