The audience watches Totto-chan: The Little Girl at the Window
Our JCC Cinema 98 screening of Totto-chan: The Little Girl at the Window took place last Saturday, 21 March, at One Punggol as part of their March Fun Fiesta. Audience of around 100 people, many of whom were families with young children, enjoyed the heartwarming film together. Beyond the screening, many of them also had the chance to learn about online resources for Japanese language learning created by the Japan Foundation.

Based on a popular Japanese novel by Ms Tetsuko Kuroyanagi, fondly known as Totto-chan and an acclaimed TV personality in Japan, The film brings to life her autobiographical childhood experiences, capturing the charm and innocence of her early years. The original book, translated into many languages, has resonated with readers worldwide and sold over 25 million copies.
