Based on a popular Japanese novel by Ms Tetsuko Kuroyanagi, fondly known as Totto-chan and an acclaimed TV personality in Japan, The film brings to life her autobiographical childhood experiences, capturing the charm and innocence of her early years. The original book, translated into many languages, has resonated with readers worldwide and sold over 25 million copies.
