by Mr Koshuzan UENO, Shakuhachi Master and Special Adviser for Cultural Exchange
 
 
Mr Koshuzan UENO is an extraordinary Tozan-school shakuhachi master (Japanese Bamboo Flute Player) who has been designated as “Special Adviser for Cultural Exchange” by Japan’s Agency for Cultural Affairs to promote international understanding towards Japanese culture since June 2008.

Mr Ueno, together with Ms Namiko Sakai (Japanese Drums Player) and Koto Group (Japanese stringed instrument) of the Japanese Association, Singapore, will present live performances and workshops on more than 20 occasions from February to April 2009.

We welcome you to join us for enjoying the performances at the following venues which will be open to the public.
