Visit to Ambassador Yamanaka by the new Executive Members of JUGAS
	Ambassador Yamanaka received a courtesy call from the new Executive Committee members of the Japanese University Graduates Association of Singapore (JUGAS) led by its chairman, Mr. Richard Chua on 28 May 2009. On this occasion, Ambassador Yamanaka commended JUGAS on its activities which aimed to promote good relations between Japan and Singapore, and expressed his intention to extend continuous and strong support to JUGAS in the future. Mr. Chua explained the outline of this year’s activity by JUGAS and shared his aspirations to further vitalize their activities toward its 40th anniversary in 2010.		JUGAS is an alumni organization of Japanese university graduates in Singapore with about 350 members presently, and it actively promotes mutual understanding and friendship between Japan and Singapore. The Embassy of Japan in Singapore will continue to support such efforts by JUGAS.
