Under the Annual Work Plan for FY2007 of the “Japan-Singapore Partnership Programme for the 21st Century” (JSPP21), 22 training courses will be implemented by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Technical Cooperation Directorate of Ministry of Foreign Affairs (TCD-MFA), Singapore jointly. The following courses are salient examples of JSPP21. (Please see the attached list for the information on all 22 courses.) 1. Customs Management for Effective Non-proliferation (The period has to be confirmed; by Immigration and Checkpoints Authority of Singapore) 2. Capacity Building for the Prevention of Contagious Diseases (10 -14 September; by Communicable Diseases Centre (CDC), Tan Tock Seng Hospital) 3. The Koban System of Japan and its Adaptation as the Neighbourhood Police Centre in Singapore (23 – 31 October; by Singapore Police Force (SPF)) 4. Visual and Electronic Navigation in the Malacca-Singapore Straits (8- 21 January, 2008; by Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA))
