How to make a donation:
- To donate via the Embassy of Japan to the Government of Japan
An account has been established by the Embassy for the receipt of donations. All the donations in this account will be distributed to the people affected by the earthquake centered in Kumamoto Prefecture.
Points to note for making donations to the Government of Japan: The "Gienkin (Relif Donation)" will be sent directly to the donation distribution committees at local governments of the affected area and will be provided to the affected people in cash.

"Letter of Acknowledgement of Donation" will be sent to you by mail.
We accept donations in cash (Singapore dollars) or cheque at Consular Department (Monday - Friday except the Embassy holidays, 8:30AM to 12:00PM, 1:30PM to 4:00PM) in the Embassy. Please make your cheque payable to "Kumamoto Earthquake Donation".
