Japan Creative Centre (JCC)



Japan Creative Centre will present a seminar on studying in Japan. This year's seminar at the Japan Creative Centre will feature Keio University, Nagoya University and University of Tokyo. In addition, participants can learn about the MEXT Scholarship, offered by Japan's Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).

This event is part of the official celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Singapore and Japan (SJ60)

ABOUT THE PRESENTING UNIVERSITIES


(c) Keio University

Keio University is a private research university founded in 1858 in Tokyo that is consistently ranked among the top universities in Japan. The presentation will highlight the GIGA Program, an English-based bachelor's degree program at the Shonan Fujisawa Campus (SFC).

   

(c) University of Tokyo
University of Tokyo is a public research university in Bunkyo, Tokyo and founded in 1877 and one of Asia's most distinguished institution. The presentation will focus on UTokyo's new College of Design and its programme starting in September 2027.
   

(c) Nagoya University
Nagoya University was founded in 1939 as one of the 7 former Imperial Universities in Japan. In 2018, it was appointed into the "Designated National University" by MEXT. Selected universities have the highest research capabilities in Japan and thus enjoys higher subsidies and more free use of funds.
