Japan Creative Centre (JCC) and DOU Creations are excited to present a special talk session by the leading star and top Otokoyaku (男役) of the historic OSK Nippon Revue Company, Kazuki Tsubasa, at JCC. Back in Singapore for the second time, she will be sharing her personal story, the challenges she overcame, as well as the vision that continues to inspire her artistic path.

Join us at this exclusive event to hear from Kazuki Tsubasa close-up in person on how she has pushed her limits on the journey from revue performer to leading star, and most importantly — what it takes for her to turn Dreams Into Reality. Kazuki Tsubasa and the OSK troupe will also be performing in Singapore once again this October, so please stay tuned!

This event is part of the official celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Singapore and Japan (SJ60).

ABOUT OSK NIPPON REVUE COMPANY

© OSK Nippon Revue Company

Founded over a century ago, OSK Nippon Revue Company is an all-female theatre troupe and one of Japan’s most iconic performing arts groups. Born under Shochiku, the same cultural roots that gave rise to Kabuki, OSK has emerged as a modern reinterpretation of traditional Japanese theatre. Since then, the company has championed women’s empowerment through the unique artistic tradition of female performers mastering both male and female roles on stage — known as Otokoyaku (男役) and Musumeyaku (娘役) respectively.

ABOUT KAZUKI TSUBASA

A powerhouse performer with exceptional vocal talent and dynamic dance prowess, Kazuki Tsubasa is a top star who has captivated audiences with remarkable stage presence since joining the OSK Nippon Revue Company in 2013. Rising rapidly through the ranks, she completed an acclaimed 70-show in a month-long marathon in light of OSK’s 100th anniversary, earning widespread acclaim.

In 2023, Kazuki Tsubasa gained nationwide attention through a key role in NHK’s popular drama Boogie Woogie, further cementing a growing reputation across Japan. Her performances quickly became sell-outs, drawing record audiences and an expanding fanbase. Following her official inauguration as a top star in September 2024, she embarked on a debut tour across ten major cities in Japan and had her debut performance in Singapore in 2025.
