Kagawa Prefecture may be the smallest prefecture in Japan, but it has long enjoyed a rich and storied past that lives on into the present day. Traditional crafts and customs remain unchanged against the peaceful and soothing azure expanses of the Setō Inland Sea and are the perfect way to relax the heart and mind.

Tokushima Prefecture's countryside is a dramatic mix of flowing rivers and towering mountains, but against this impressive backdrop of nature lie spots of intense beauty and calmness. From natural hot-springs hidden deep in the forests to the loft mountain perches where clouds clash like an ocean of smoky waves, discovery awaits.

Kochi Prefecture is surrounded by the dramatic crash and roar of the Pacific Ocean but its northern mountains and valleys hold their own surprises. Here in the forested slopes, small villages are designed with nature in mind. They stand in serenity with the surrounding woods and hidden mountain waterfalls that flow with water so clear that its blue reflects the Kochi sky.
