Engage in interactive talk and demonstration sessions to learn more about the nearly thousand years of history that have shaped Japanese tea ceremony and kimono traditions.

Due to popular demand, JCC has organised two sessions featuring speaker Ms Sanae Otsuka, who is well-versed in traditional Japanese arts, clothes, and manners; In the first session, Ms Sanae Otsuka will share with participants about the varieties of kimono and tea ceremony, as well as manners and appropriate behaviour when donning a kimono, or attending a tea ceremony. The second session will focus solely on tea, and Ms Sanae Otsuka will speak about and demonstrate the Omotesenke Way of Tea. Both sessions will feature an exclusive demonstration of the Omotesenke Way of Tea, during which participants will have the chance to partake in Japanese tea and traditional sweets.
