Japan Creative Centre (JCC), Embassy of Japan in Singapore, together with Japanese University Graduates Association of Singapore (JUGAS), welcome you to a briefing and informative session on everything you need to know about the 2020 Monbukagakusho (MEXT) Scholarship. Join us and hear first-hand accounts from MEXT scholarship recipients at the session! There will be booths, consultations and brochures available by several Japanese universities from 1pm to 5pm! What is Monbukagakusho (MEXT) Scholarship?


The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) of Japan offers scholarships annually to international students who wish to study at Japanese universities under the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship Program. There are 5 categories available, out of which, 3 are currently open for application:

2020 MEXT Scholarship for Undergraduate Students
2020 MEXT Scholarship for Specialized Training College Students
2020 MEXT Scholarship for Research Students
