Japan Creative Centre (JCC) is excited to present an exclusive talk session with singer-songwriter and music producer Sachiyo, and Singaporean music producer and director Evan Low.
As key collaborators behind the SJ60 commemorative concert Resonance Across Borders, to be held at Drama Centre Theatre on 6 September 2026, the two will have a creative dialogue between Japanese and Singaporean perspectives, discussing the opportunities and challenges of creating music across cultures.
This event is part of the official celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Singapore and Japan (SJ60).

Sachiyo is a Japanese singer-songwriter and music producer, born in Tokyo and raised in Singapore. She is widely known for connecting Singapore and Japan through music for over two decades.
She has released four albums and created Furusato, the Japanese version of Singapore's beloved National Day Parade theme song Home.
She performs in English, Japanese, Mandarin and Malay, and has produced and performed in numerous Singapore–Japan cultural projects, including SJ40 Singapore Food & Culture Festival and SJ50 SG–JP Music Mix. She presented solo concerts at the Singapore Pavilion during Expo 2005 Aichi and Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai, and is currently producing the SJ60 commemorative concert.

Evan Low, also known as evanturetime, is a Singaporean music producer, music director and educator. His work spans songwriting, record production and large-scale live performances, with collaborations with leading Singaporean artists as well as internationally renowned musicians.
A recipient of Singapore's Young Artist Award (2024), Evan has co-written and co-produced National Day Parade theme songs including The Road Ahead (2021) and Not Alone (2024), and is the Creative Adviser for the SJ60 commemorative concert.
