Prevention and Treatment of Diabetes
- Live a long life with Hemodialysis -

2 March 2026

Japan Creative Centre (JCC)

The prevalence of diabetes in Singapore is steadily increasing. While nocturnal dialysis (nighttime dialysis) has become widespread thanks to Japan's technological capabilities, Maeda Medical Clinic is the first private healthcare provider to offer this in Singapore. In this lecture, Dr Maeda Atsuhiro, Nephrologist and Vice Director of Maeda Hospital, and Dr Behram A. Khan, Senior Consultant Nephrologist at NUHS and Assistant Professor of Medicine, will present about preventive measures for diabetes, hemodialysis, and nocturnal dialysis.

This event is part of the official celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Singapore and Japan (SJ60).
