KYO-ROMAN: SERENITY IN A BOWL – MATCHA DEMONSTRATION

© KYO-ROMAN

Witness the refined art of the Japanese tea ceremony presented by Kyo-Roman.

Established in 1986, Kyo-Roman is a holding company dedicated to becoming a "100-year company" by pursuing customer satisfaction and creating "smiles". Be captivated by the graceful movements and experience the profound sense of "Wabi-Sabi" (simple, transient beauty) that comes with a perfectly prepared bowl of matcha. This is an opportunity to find peace amidst the hustle and bustle of city life.

NIPPON TATE-DO KYOKAI: SAMURAI ACTION AND SHAMISEN HARMONY

Feel the indomitable Samurai Spirit come alive right before your eyes and prepare for a breathtaking spectacle! The Nippon Tate-do Kyokai (Japan Sword Action Association) will perform a dynamic demonstration, fusing the precise, dramatic movements of "Tate" (sword fighting choreography) with the powerful, soulful sound of the Shamisen (three-stringed instrument).

The Tate-do Association Osaka is a non-profit dedicated to promoting and preserving tate-do, a modern Japanese sword art that combines traditional kenjutsu with theatrical choreography.

ABOUT KANSAI, JAPAN

© The KANSAI Guide / YouTube

Kansai is the region where Japan’s capital used to be placed for over 1,000 years. Consequently, timeless traditional culture is passed on in many locations.

Almost a quarter of world heritage sites registered in Japan cluster in Kansai, a repository of numerous national treasures and important cultural assets. The origins of Samurai culture, garden culture, zen, tea ceremony, and other traditions in Japan can also be traced back to this region.

Surrounded by rich nature with six national parks, this region will soothe the souls of visitors. In essence, Kansai is the treasury of tourism resources that travelers seek.

The KANSAI Tourism Bureau is a key organization dedicated to promoting inbound tourism across the Kansai region (Osaka, Kyoto, etc.). Its role involves collecting and sharing essential tourist information, while working to enhance the environment for foreign visitors.
