Ishikawa Prefectural Government Office and Japan Creative Centre (JCC) proudly present an online workshop entitled “Go for Gold”, in which you will be able to experience crafting with gold leaves in the comfort of your homes! Upon successful registration, participants can collect a gold-leaf crafting tumbler set from JCC, and will then be fully guided during the online workshop. Participants of all ages are welcomed to participate. Each tumbler’s design will be unique as it is decorated by you, using gold from the Kingdom of Crafts - Ishikawa Prefecture, where 99% of all Japanese gold leaf production is from.

This workshop is the second of a series of three workshops organised for this year. We kindly request for those who have already joined the workshop in May, to please refrain from participating again so as to allow other people to enjoy the same experience. If you are unable to join us for the June slot, please keep an eye out for our announcements regarding the next slot (to take place in October). We encourage you to participate in one session which is most convenient for you.

About Ishikawa Prefectural Government Office

Established in 2014, The Ishikawa Prefectural Government Office oversees and organizes business matching events, Ishikawa cultural promotion and tourism promotion in the South-East Asia region.

Based in Singapore, the team aspires to introduce the different flavours of Ishikawa to the local community. We hope that you too would join us to experience the Splendours of Ishikawa.

Ishikawa Prefecture is home to wonderful scenery and beautiful sights, mouth-watering cuisine and some of the best onsens (hot springs) in all of Japan. From the calming yet rugged coastlines of the Noto Peninsula, to the tranquil and refreshing onsen towns of the Kaga region that lie in the foothills of Mt. Hakusan; Ishikawa Prefecture offers a diverse plethora of options for one to take time off the busy city life.

Ishikawa Prefecture's capital city of Kanazawa is home to a unique blend where tradition meets the present; with modern shopping districts and contemporary art museums located in a city with some of the best preserved geisha and tea house districts and samurai residences.
