About Fukumitsuya Sake Brewery

Fukumitsuya Sake Brewery is the oldest sake brewery in Kanazawa city, and has been producing sake since 1625. With the highest level of craftsmanship and traditional family secret recipe, the brewery is now the most famous sake brewery in Ishikawa. The company is characterised by its skilled sake brewing techniques honed over its long history of 400 years in Kanazawa city, and is committed to using high-quality ingredients. As a Junmai brewery, which is rare in Japan, they produce only Junmai sake with no additional alcohol added. Kagatobi, their representative brand, has a sharp, dry taste with strong umami flavour.

About Ishikawa Prefectural Government Office

Established in 2014, The Ishikawa Prefectural Government Office oversees and organises business matching events, Ishikawa cultural promotion and tourism promotion in the South-East Asia region.

Based in Singapore, the team aspires to introduce the different flavours of Ishikawa to the local community. We hope that you too would join us to experience the Splendours of Ishikawa.

Ishikawa Prefecture is home to wonderful scenery and beautiful sights, mouth-watering cuisine and some of the best onsens (hot springs) in all of Japan. From the calming yet rugged coastlines of the Noto Peninsula, to the tranquil and refreshing onsen towns of the Kaga region that lie in the foothills of Mt. Hakusan; Ishikawa Prefecture offers a diverse plethora of options for one to take time off the busy city life.

Ishikawa Prefecture's capital city of Kanazawa is home to a unique blend where tradition meets the present; with modern shopping districts and contemporary art museums located in a city with some of the best preserved geisha and tea house districts and samurai residences.
