It is steeped in the philosophy of developing proximity with nature. Ikebana is a form of art similar to painting and sculpture. The artist expresses his/her creativity by using the medium of natural floral materials and containers. The fundamentals of Ikebana are as relevant today as they were centuries ago, but the art form has evolved to suit the modern society |

About FLOWERS BY NAKED |
FLOWERS BY NAKED is a series of immersive, experiential art exhibitions designed, planned, and produced by NAKED, INC.. Since 2016, the project has been held in numerous cities such as Tokyo, Kyoto, and Hong Kong. January 2020 marked the fifth year of the event held at Nihonbashi, and in April, a first-ever collaboration alongside real cherry blossoms at World Heritage Site Nijo-jo Castle. The latter was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and instead inspired the NAKED, INC. VR series which brings the immersive FLOWERS experience to people’s homes. Over 80,000 posts can be found under the hashtag #flowersbynaked on Instagram from audiences that have partaken in the experience over the years. |
