Japan Creative Centre (JCC), Embassy of Japan in Singapore and Daiwa House are proud to present a lecture that will talk about the importance of useful ideas and devices which makes better housing.

With an experience of 1.5 million units, Mr Daisuke Usugi, Managing Director of Daiwa House Malaysia will showcase the latest Japanese housing technology which are currently used, as well as introducing Sakura Residence - the first prefabricated house in Malaysia using Japanese technology focusing on comfortability and safety. Together, Mr Akihito Kawahara, Branch Manager of Daiken Corporation Singapore, who will complement the talk by Mr Usugi by sharing about new ideas of smart storage. Daisuke Usugi
Managing Director of Daiwa House Malaysia Sdn Bhd

Daiwa House is one of Japan's top company and the pioneer of prefabricated house that is listed in Fortune Global 500. Mr Daisuke Usugi is currently the Managing Director of Daiwa House Malaysia Sdn Bhd (DHM), a wholly owned subsidiary of Daiwan House Japan. He is also the CEO of Daiwa Sunway Development Sdn Bhd (DSD), a joint venture with Sunway Iskandar Sdn Bhd. Graduated from Kobe University and has been with Daiwa House since 1996, Mr Usugi moved to Malaysia in 2012 with the aim of introducing Japanese prefabricated home technology to the region.

Branch Manager of Daiken Corporation Singapore Branch

Daiken Corporation is housing component manufacturer listed in the Tokyo Stock Exchange that has the largest plants for interior wooden doors, engineering floorings, office ceiling tiles and medium-density fibreboard in Japan. Mr Kawahara graduated from Konan University and joined Daiken Corporation since 1995. Currently the Branch Manager of Daiken Corporation Singapore, he works closely with Japanese housing manufacturers and general contractors providing Japan quality products and services from manufacturing plants around the region.
