Film Synopsis

Following our tie-up with ANA and JAL in our Summerland Wonderland Japan 2017 ~ Airway and Railway ~, Japan Creative Centre (JCC) is delighted to screen 'Happy Flight' for this month's JCC Cinema.

Starring popular stars Haruka Ayase and Seiichi Tanabe, 'Happy Flight' is the 2008 Japan box office comedy hit in collaboration with All Nippon Airways (ANA) about Kazuhiro Suzuki, a copilot who is trying to qualify as a pilot, and Etsuko Saito, a young flight attendant going on her first international flight. It also tells the story of Natsumi Kimura, a ground crew who deals with issues regarding the flight. The plot revolves around the logistics of preparing Flight 1980, an ANA 747-400 flight to Hawaii, for a timely and safe departure as the crew overcomes technical difficulties and other comedic in-flight mishaps.
