ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
Japan Creative Centre is pleased to present “My Cosmos: From my room to my city”, a solo exhibition by renowned Japanese architect Ito Toyo.
A recipient of prestigious awards such as the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement from the 8th International Exhibition and the Royal Gold Medal from the Royal Institute of British Architects, Ito Toyo explores the architecture of the 21st century that goes beyond modernism’s purity and machine analogy, transcending architecture through autopoietic processes and organic geometries into life-forms that reflect nature. An exploration that can be seen translated in his work such as the Vivo City design in Singapore among many others globally.
At the exhibition, Toyo Ito will be showcasing scale models and drawings of his most inconic work to date. Join us on a journey into the world of Toyo Ito and explore this little showcase of his Cosmos.
