Since the Grand Opening on November 14, 2009 with attendance of Prime Minister of Japan HE Yukio Hatoyama and Prime Minister of Singapore HE Lee Hsien Loong, JCC has held the "Japan Good Design" Exhibition and lecture between November 16, 2009 and January 29, 2010, Japanese oldest drama theatre "Noh" performance and lectures on January 8-9, Japanese editorial designer Yuji Kimura's Exhibition "Margins & Memories" between February 5 and 26 and Exhibition "Tsuzuri Cultural Heritage Inheritance Project" between March 5 and 20.

So far we gained good reputation for the high level events. On average JCC has had around 50 visitors a day and they highly appreciate our facilities and events according to their answers to out questionnaires.

On April 30 JCC just started second of its hot designers series "Groovisions" and we are quite sure that we will receive high reputation on it, too. We will also start Japanese Language Lessons for school children "Manga de Nihongo" on April 9.

After "Groovisions" we plan to organize more original and creative events and activities in cooperation with individual artists, private companies and other organizations. I hope that many Singaporeans will come and enjoy them.
