On Sunday, 30 September 2018, Japanese photographers Rinko Kawauchi, Tomoko Sawada, and Yuki Onodera, had a talk event at JCC (Japan Creative Centre). This talk was organised by the Singapore International Photography Festival, which also organised the exhibition of works at JCC that features the photographs of these three photographers.
|
Many audience members and SIPF pass holders attended the talk, where the photographers engaged in a dialogue with the Ms Gwen Lee, the Festival Director of the Singapore International Photography Festival. They spoke about their experiences as photographers and their inspirations, how their work differed from other photographers in the industry, and even imparted valuable advice to young photographers who were just starting to embark on their photography careers. After the talk, the photographers stayed to speak with members of the audience and to sign their books.
