With remarkable repertoire of awe-inspiring dancers, the audience was dazzled by performances by Masako Nishikawa – third headmaster of the Nishikawa School and Kirk Nishikawa Dixon – Japan’s leading classical Japanese dancer and the next in succession as the headmaster of the Nishikawa-ryu.
The highlight of the event and the most talked about those nights by the audiences was ‘The Lion’ make-up demonstration by Kirk Nishikawa Dixon. The demonstration consisted of an utterly exclusive insight to his journey of Odori and the symbolisms of his maquillage.
