"Umeshu - Fragrant Flavours of Japanese Fruit Liquor" was held successfully on Wednesday, 28 Oct 2021!
The hour-long webinar started with an introduction regarding the history and cultural significance of ume plums and the ume plum tree, followed by a presentation from Mr Ueda of Umeshuya on the production and places in Japan that grow this wonderful fruit.
Singaporean chef Violet Oon shared with the audience creative ways to pair umeshu and other fruit liquors with local delights such as Laksa!
