Dan Takeda x Takanao Todo Flower x Pottery 爻 Creative Session

A ‘Dan Takeda x Takanao Todo Flower x Pottery 爻 Creative Session’ was held at JCC on Saturday, 8th October 2016. With over 100 guests in attendance, Mr Dan Takeda a floral artist demonstrated his beautiful craft in a form of a performance. Mr Takeda of DAN TAKEDA FLOWER & DESIGN PTE LTD., who currently resides in Singapore, has an extensive resume where he has created flower displays for established brands, such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Dior.

Following his passion for his floral artistry, his demonstrations were covered by NHK Japan and featured in Olivier Dupon’s book in contemporary flower design. In 2015, he collaborated with renowned Japanese fashion designer Ms Koshino Hiroko and this year, a calendar was released by Takashimaya, Japan, which he exclusively designed.

Mr Takanao Todo sharing his passion for architecture and pottery.
Mr Takanao Todo, a potter, shared intimate details on his love for pottery. Mr Todo graduated from the Architectural Association School of Architecture, and achieved RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architecture) Part2. Though currently working with DP Architects in Singapore, he has received several awards for his movies, novels, and pottery works. Some of his works include the Mita Nursery in Tokyo, Genting Hotel in Singapore, and Pavilion@ECO world in India.

The demonstration and sharing session was followed by a Q&A session with the guests.
