Aviation Sector Panel and Networking Session

Networking session.
On Thursday, the 22nd February 2024, the Panel and Networking Session for the aviation sector was held at the JCC (Japan Creative Centre). With participation from Boeing and 16 Japanese companies, the networking event was an opportunity to kickstart meaningful exchanges for possible avenues of business expansion and collaboration in addressing challenges within the industry.

After an opening address by Mr Takahashi Yoshiaki, Deputy Chief of Mission and Minister of the Embassy of Japan in Singapore, as well as Mr Iwasaki Junichi, Director of Aircraft Component and Materials Industries Office from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, Ms. Janene Collins, Vice President in charge of Supply chain contracts & Sourcing from Boeing, delivered a presentation, followed by presentations from the 16 Japanese companies. The networking session started with a toast from JCC Director Kawabe Akiko and participants mingled while enjoying sake and shochu from different Japanese prefectures.
