The Reception to Celebrate the Birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan (2023)

On 23 February 2023, Ambassador Ishikawa hosted a reception in celebration of the 63rd birthday of His Majesty the Emperor. Ambassador Ishikawa reflected on the excellent bilateral relationship between Japan and Singapore.
We were also honored to have the presence of Mrs Josephine Teo, Minister for Communications and Information, Ms Yeo Wan Ling, Member of Parliament for Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC, and Mr Yip Hon Weng, Member of Parliament for Yio Chu Kang. Minister Teo delivered a thoughtful speech on our bilateral partnership. Thank you for those who came to celebrate this special day. We hope everyone was able to indulge in Japanese culture through the food and beverages, products, and displays. Last but not least, a huge thank you to the Japanese companies and local governments for their generous contributions to make this event a colourful and vibrant one! |
