JCC held its first physical workshop in two years with Furoshiki Lah! on Saturday 28 May. It was a delight to welcome a full house for both workshop sessions. Furoshiki (風呂敷) are traditional Japanese wrapping cloths used to wrap and transport items. Under the guidance of Audrey and Oki-san, participants learnt how to wrap water flasks and boxes in simple, yet beautiful and practical ways. Through this workshop, we hope that participants learnt more about the functional and creative uses of furoshiki, and can incorporate it into their daily lives!

Participants were also given an introduction of the meaning and history of furoshiki |
