Tropical Opulence and Simplicity, a workshop by Ikebana International (I.I.) Singapore Chapter 135, was held yesterday at JCC (Japan Creative Centre). Under the guidance and facilitation of Ms Kathreen Meyer-Ohle from Ohara School of Ikebana and other I.I. members, about 30 participants attended the workshop and learnt about flower arrangements that conjure the image of summertime, where they were able to bring their works back home.

Following an overwhelming talk on Dramatic Olive Island ~ Shodoshima ~ last week, Mr Kenya Inoue and Mr Kosuke Otsubo from Inoue Olive located at TANGS Orchard came once again to JCC to give a short introduction about Shodoshima, the island’s top grade olive plantation, and some of their skincare products made of olive oil to the participants. They also had the opportunity to try the products and were given sample packets.
