JET Homecoming Gala

We organised the Homecoming Gala for JET (Japan Exchange and Teaching) programme participants who returned from Japan to Singapore this year at The Japanese Association, Singapore on 3 December.

Opening remarks were delivered by Ambassador Ishikawa Hiroshi, followed by a speech and toast by Executive Director of J.CLAIR Singapore Mr Takano Kazuki. The event featured presentations by JET returnees about their lives in Japan, and an introduction to JETAA by Ms Hoong Shao Ting, President of JETAA Singapore.

Each returnee’s presentation reflected how their lives in Japan were both enjoyable and rewarding. We hope their cheerful photos with their Japanese students at school, as well as with Japanese friends and fellow JET members participating in local events, encouraged the audience to visit and stay in Japan as well!

Now it's your turn! Be sure to join a JET Information Session to find out more! https://jetprogramme.org/en/
