On 1 December, H.E. Ambassador Hiroshi Ishikawa attended the opening of “Japan x Singapore Student Art Collaboration” at the JCC (Japan Creative Centre), together with Ms. Clara Lim Tan from Ministry of Education, Singapore and Ms. Fumiko Nakatani, Principal of The Japanese School Singapore Changi Campus. As a special guest, Ms. Masako Mori, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Japan, participated online.
Organised by JCC and The Japanese School Singapore, this year’s art collaboration features 130 artworks from 3 Japanese schools and 8 Singapore schools. The highlight of the exhibition is a series of 10 large artworks co-created by Japanese and Singaporean students. A video clip showing the creation process is displayed on the site.
