The annual JCC (Japan Creative Centre) Advisory Committee Meeting, hosted by His Excellency Ambassador Jun Yamazaki, was held on 2 December 2019 to review the activities of the past year and to discuss the visions and scope of activities for 2020. This meeting was attended by His Excellency Ambassador-at-Large Tommy Koh, who has been on the advisory committee since 2011, as well as representatives of government agencies and private entities of Singapore and Japan-related organisations.

As part of JCC's 10th anniversary, JCC partnered with many organisations to conduct a variety of showcase events through exhibitions, talks, workshops, and demonstrations. This also included the first ever complete Bunraku performance in Singapore, which was the highlight of JCC10, and was covered by numerous media channels.
The members recognised and praised JCC’s efforts and results during this milestone year. They also discussed what JCC could achieve in 2020, by focusing on the quality of each individual event rather than the total quantity of events, while continuing to promote mutual understanding and friendship between Singapore and Japan.
