Two students of The Japanese School Singapore, Clementi campus joined JCC as part of their school’s curriculum of experiencing working life in Singapore, on 1st and 2nd November. It was the period before Dr Iskandar Jalil’s solo exhibition “Dr Iskandar Jalil: Paradox” and thus were able to not just view his works in the flesh, but speak to the distinguished artist and also assist in the set-up process. Former Ambassador to Singapore Mr Haruhisa Takeuchi visited the exhibition for the upcoming exhibition and the two students were able to speak to him as well.
|
Diplomats from Embassy of Japan in Singapore also came down to have lunch with the students and they were able to listen to stories as well as ask diplomats about their day to day work behind the scenes, followed by a visit to the embassy.
