Pre-departure orientation to Singapore Representative at Asian International Children’s Film Festival, JENESYS 2018 Programme

Students representing Singapore at the upcoming Asian International Children’s Film Festival 2018 were invited to JCC (Japan Creative Centre) on Saturday, 3rd November 2018 for their pre-departure trip to Hokkaido, Japan! Welcomed by JCC Director Ms Akiko Sugita, a total of 9 students from Nanyang Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Temasek Polytechnic will be showcasing 3 short videos this year with the theme ‘Self Responsibility’. They also introduced themselves and their videos, and were further briefed by Mr Shigeru Asari from Nippon Express on the travelling procedures. |
| Held as part of the JENESYS2018 Programme (Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths), the festival aims to promote friendship and goodwill among Asian youths through filmmaking, where they are invited to Japan for a competition and days of cultural exchange activities that culminate in an awarding ceremony for winning film entries. |  Group photo. |
