Japan Creative Centre (JCC) was pleased to participate in the One Community Fiesta of West Coast Community Centre(WCCC) on Saturday, 18 November.

Our Ambassador H.E. Kenji Shinoda graced the event and had a guided tour around the event, as well as newly upgraded WCCC, together with the MPs from West Coast GRC and Pioneer Constituency led by host Mr S Iswaran (Minister for Trade and Industry (Industry)), along with Mr Lim Hng Kiang (Minister for Trade and Industry (Trade)), Mr Patrick Tay and Mr Cedric Foo – including our JCC booth providing Origami (Japanese paper folding) experience and Japan tourism.

Cosplayers from Singapore Cosplay Club were also part of our participation, where they wore characters related to Japanese anime, as well as performed on stage. A certificate was later presented by WCCC to JCC nearing the end of the event as a token of appreciate to us for taking part in this event. It was indeed a great and fun day interacting with many West Coast residents!
