Japan Creative Centre (JCC) was delighted to host a little send-off orientation for the students participating in this year’s JENESYS Programme on 11th November 2017. 4 students from Nanyang Polytechnic and 5 students from Temasek Polytechnic, accompanied by Ms Rachel Lim from Nanyang Polytechnic travelled to Hokkaido from 21 - 29 November 2017, where they took part in the 11th Asian International Children’s Film Festival on 25 November 2017.

After an encouraging opening remark from Director of JCC, Ms Akiko Sugita, the students were free to mingle and get to know each other better. The students were made up of three teams who produced short films based on the theme “School Teacher”. As it was their first time meeting each other and seeing each other’s films, they were able to ask each other questions and discuss their work.

Members of JCC, Embassy of Japan in Singapore, and tour agent NIPPON EXPRESS were also present to answer any questions the students may have about travelling in Japan.
