The finals for the Japanese Speech Contest 2017 were held last Sunday, 9th July 2016, at the Japanese Association Singapore. This event was jointly organised by Japan Creative Centre, Embassy of Japan in Singapore, The Japanese Cultural Society Singapore, The Japanese Association Singapore, Japanese Chamber of Commerce & Industry Singapore, and The Japanese University Graduates Association of Singapore.

A total of 24 participants from 4 categories (Secondary School, Junior College, Tertiary, Open) presented their thoughtful and engaging speeches to a full house. H.E. Ambassador Kenji attended as one of the organisers, and presented The Japanese Ambassador’s Cup to the winner of the Open category.
